Sunday BBQ picnic: will be held at at Armstrong Redwoods State Park from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Armstrong park is located 3 miles north of Guerneville, a nearby town. Address and driving directions are located on the Locations & Directions page.

Armstrong Park is gorgeous and offers a wide range of activites, nature walks, trails, and hikes. We'll also have an assortment of ridiculous lawn games at the picnic such as bocce, croquet and badminton.

Osmosis is a wonderful japanese-style spa and bathhouse just around the corner from the wedding site.

Wineries & Vinyards The wedding site is located in the Russian River Valley, the heart of northern California's wine producing region. The area is blanketed with wineries:

Johnson's beach is very close to our Sunday picnic spot--- you can rent an inner tube, buy some ice cream or a can of beer, and float in the river if it's hot out...

Pacific Coast The Pacific ocean with beautiful beaches and views is located just a few miles down the road from Guerneville.

Take Highway 116 westwards out of Guerneville and you'll reach the pacific ocean (and the town of Jenner) in 13 miles (20 minutes driving time.)

Beachcomb or hike the rugged coastline--dress warmly & watch out for sneaker waves!

We recommend checking out the views and beach at Goat Rock, reached by taking a left onto Highway 1 before you reach Jenner:
