The closest towns & cities to the wedding site with a high concentration of lodging are:

Occidental
Sebastopol
Santa Rosa (city)
Monte Rio
Guerneville
Freestone (wedding site)

Freestone, Occidental, Monte Rio and Guerneville are charming vacation towns with a mix of hotels & vacation cottage rentals (see list below). Santa Rosa and Sebastopol are cities with a higher concentration of traditional hotels. There are also campgrounds in the area.

All are nearby the wedding site -- Santa Rosa is 12 miles and 22 minutes average driving time away. Guerneville is 16 miles and 30 minutes driving time. All other locations listed are closer than those two.

Guerneville Lodge has big, nice rooms, a deck overlooking the river, and a hot tub. They also have they also have a limited number of campsites on their grassy yard by the river. (We camped here once):
